Tesla: Test Driving the Sexy, New Eco-Friendly Roadster

The Tesla ‘Electric Roadster’

“Google founders Larry Page and Sergei Brin dumped millions of dollars into the new Tesla Roadster, an all-electric sports car that looks like a Lotus and drives like a Maserati. Watch as we take the first one for a test drive around Silicon Valley. It’s eco-friendly and fast! And for just $100,000, you, too, can have one of your very own!”

Great vid! Awesome car. I want one!!

  2. Cool looking car, but I forget to charge my phone some nights. If I forget to charge the car I will have a 100k paper weight in my garage for 16hours lol. And if there is a black out you’re screwed.

  3. Cool… a price tag like a house in Sweden… But still if you want to be eco friendly and still have a cool looking car this is it…

  4. You can take it one step further and make the electric car have infinite mileage, wireless power transfer, I put up a demonstration so we can learn and bring this technology about underground so all can have free energy and infinite wireless power! We all have to bring it forward!

You know they are recyclable right? They offer a huge trade in value on your old battery when you get a new one.

    Their website has …
Their website has all that information. I’d think most doctor’s would consider this before YouTube posting.

  8. Also, PC magazine …
Also, PC magazine probably isn’t familiar with how expensive most cars that can go 0-60 in under 4 seconds are. Other than the faster corvettes most cars that can do that will be nearly as expensive as the Tesla if not more.

  9. The EV1 was also a …
The EV1 was also a failure because GM created an impractical 2 seater with no back seats that, unlike the Tesla or Smart Car, wasn’t pretty or sporty. Honda tried something similar and also failed. Remember the 1999 Honda Insight? Got 60 mpg and was available before the Prius and nobody bought them. Why? Like the EV1 it was impractical as a two seater with minimal storage, not fast, and weird looking.

  10. I think the EV-1 …
I think the EV-1 failed because it was a two seater but unlike the Tesla it wasn’t quick or a sports car. Very few people will put up with no back seats if its NOT a sports car. Honda’s 1999 Insight hybrid got 60mpg and arrived in the US before the famous Prius. Like the EV1 it was slow, ugly, a two seater and not a big seller, while the 4 door, less weird looking Prius was a hit.

No offense…if it rains, what will the people do, wet themselves? I wish that car would have a roof!

  14. Not ALL rich people like to show off…

And besides, why hate on rich folks. Without them, none of these inventions would be possible.
