We’ve already looked at the C63 sedan from Mercedes – this one puts the same drivetrain in a bigger and more luxurious package. Its electronic drivetrain control capability gives you four individual driving modes, ‘throttle-blipping’ and RACE START functions, making for an extremely emotional and highly dynamic driving experience.

I have just purchased one of these. Today was my first time driving one that wasn’t owned by the car lot. I had mine shipped from Europe with the European-only carbon-ceramic AMG brakes, and so far it is the most amazing car I have ever owned.

This car is awesome! Anyone who is thinking of buying MUST get the Dynamic, Pulsing, Heated and Vented Seats. They dynamically cushion you in whilst cornering! The Massage function is great whilst driving home from a round of golf
The Distronic (Intelligent Cruise Control) is also a MUST. Do not be a scrooge and not get that option.
I have a an E55 W211 Fully loaded. And ALL the options make it one of the best drivers car on the planet. This BEAST over all the Astons and Bentleys!
Very true about the seats. They do pump up. At speed, let’s say you turn left – the right side of the seat pumps up so its holds you in. That’s one of the things that sold me. I have a 09 cl63. Mercedes makes great cars.
Not really…you have the see the car in person to appreciate it, I saw the new E500 when it came out and the new E’s are much more spacious and they profile better but these AMG’s are beasts of a car. You can shift gears and have power in any gear and they got all these settings you can change on a whim. You would rather have a new AMG then the old one, trust me!
Believe it or not, my dad test drove one yesterday…he said the car was too much for him…when you turn, the seats tighten around your body so that you don’t move in the seats…like a sports car…then he said the Torque is so monstrous..and when you step on it the car breathes like a monster…I was so jealous when he told me he drove the E AMG…
Ugly, the old 211 E55/63 looks much nicer.
