Last month, Toyota issued a massive recall of nearly 4 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles. The recall is intended to fix a very dangerous defect which can lead to unintended acceleration of the vehicle. Initially thought to be an issue with the floor mats interfering with the gas pedal, the real problem involves the cars’ electronic throttle system.

Cadillac recently unveiled its 2011 CTS Coupe at the LA Auto Show. It’s the latest and most dramatic of the brand’s new production designs and scheduled to arrive in Cadillac showrooms in the spring of 2010.
The CTS Coupe is a new luxury sports coupe designed to become the centerpiece of the brand’s revised lineup. The CTS Coupe’s design is virtually unchanged from the concept car that was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in 2008. Watch the video and drool!

McLaren has recently unveiled a new 600 hp ’super sports’ car, featuring technology borrowed from its Formula 1 experience. This vehicle has been engineered to be as environmentally friendly as possible, boasting the lowest carbon output per hp of any car currently available.
This is a new venture into the super car market, and the company is building a new production line to turn out up to 4,000 of them a year. The BBC’s Richard Scott has been given an exclusive first look at the car.
